These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MyMealTicket application ("the App") and website ("the Site"), operated by MyMealTicket ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms.
To use the App, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You may create or join a household within the App. Household members share access to recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists. You are responsible for who you invite to your household.
The App is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The purchase price is set by us and may change for new customers, but your purchase is permanent and non-recurring.
AI-powered recipe imports use credits. Your purchase includes an initial allotment of free credits. Additional credits can be purchased in packs through in-app purchase. Credits do not expire while your account is active. Credit purchases are non-refundable. Unused credits are permanently lost if you delete your account.
Manual recipe entry, importing from other recipe apps, meal planning, shopping list features, and household sharing do not require credits and are included with your purchase at no additional cost.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all recipes, images, and other content you add to the App ("Your Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality to you and your household members.
When you use AI-powered recipe import, the content you submit (URLs, images, PDFs) is sent to third-party AI services for processing. These services process your content to extract recipe information and do not retain your data after processing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The App helps you capture and organize recipes from various sources for personal use. You are responsible for ensuring your use of captured recipes complies with applicable copyright laws. We do not claim ownership of recipes captured through the App, nor do we guarantee that captured recipes are free from third-party intellectual property claims.
Public vs. Private Recipes: Recipes imported from publicly accessible sources (social media posts, public websites) are tagged as "public" within the App. Recipes entered manually, imported from PDFs, or captured from photos are tagged as "private." Public recipes may be made searchable and discoverable by other MyMealTicket users — for example, to help users find recipes that match specific ingredients. Private recipes are never shared, searchable, or visible to anyone outside your household.
By importing a recipe from a public source, you acknowledge that the original recipe was already publicly available and that other users may discover it through the App's search features. No personal information (who imported it, which household it belongs to) is attached to public recipe search results.
The App integrates with third-party services including:
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.
We strive to keep the App available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the App. When you delete your account, all associated data — including recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and any remaining credits — is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. If you subsequently repurchase the App, you will start with a new account. No data or credits from a previous account can be restored.
Credit purchases are non-refundable. Unused credits are forfeited upon account deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
